Student Preview mode lets an instructor access their course as a student. While in Student Preview, you can take tests, submit assignments, post to the discussion board — any activity a student can do in the course you can do under Student Preview.
Availability
Student Preview mode is available in both classic- and ultra-style Blackboard course sites.
How It Works
When Student Preview mode is activated, Blackboard creates a "_PreviewUser" version of your account enrolled in the course as a student.
When you exit Student Preview, you will have the option to keep the preview user account active in your course. This means if you submitted a test or assignment as a PreviewUser, you can find your submission in the Grade Center and try out the grading process.
