Before applying LockDown Browser, you'll need to create your test. We recommend setting all the test options before setting the LockDown Browser requirement.
Find the LockDown Browser Dashboard
Click RESPONDUS LOCKDOWN BROWSER under the Course Management / Course Tools heading to launch the LockDown Browser Dashboard.

Require LockDown Browser
The LockDown Browser Dashboard will display a list of all assessments in your course. Click the arrow button left of the assessment name, then choose SETTINGS

This will open the LockDown Browser settings for the item. Select Require LockDown Browser.

When Require LockDown Browser is selected, additional settings will appear.While the default settings are mostly sufficient, we do recommend opening the ADVANCED SETTINGS menu and checking the box that allows "students to take this exam with an iPad (using the LockDown Browser" app from the Apple App Store)."

Click the Save + Close button to activate LockDown Browser.

From the Test or Assignment page, click the gear button on the on the right side of the page (right of Test Settings or Assignment Settings). This will open the settings panel on the right.

Scroll down to the Assessment Security heading. Click the LockDown Browser Dashboard link.
