Course sites are kept on Blackboard for 4 academic years.
Every year, the Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning archives courses more than 4 years old, then deletes the course sites from Blackboard.
For this reason, CETL recommends downloading a copy of your Grade Center as an Excel file at the end of every term for archival purposes. You may also want to download and store a copy of the course syllabus. If accreditation reports for your program have particular requirements (samples of student work, for example), we recommend downloading those as well.
