Blackboard course sites are limited to 6 GB of storage. Under most circumstances, this should be plenty of storage for a course.
If you receive a message that you can no longer add content to your course site because you have reached or exceeded your quota, contact the Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning for assistance in reducing your course's storage footprint.
If you are concerned you might exceed your course's quota, consider employing the following steps as you add content:
- Upload video content to Microsoft Stream or YouTube, then link to or embed the videos in your course site
- Save extremely large files (such as PowerPoint presentations with extremely high-resolution images or zipped programming files with a large number of assets) to OneDrive, then post links to these files in your course site
