How can we utilize our time during summer to plan, to research, and to produce scholarly writing? What are some best approaches to maximizing this part of the year to develop quality work to include in portfolios for tenure and promotion or to explore and share ideas with the greater academic community? This session will discuss how to set goals and a writing schedule as well as the merits of using tools including citation managers. We also discuss various venues for publication and their advantages and disadvantages as pertaining to tenure and promotion.
