Fall Colleague Development Days call for proposals is open

During this event, we plan to reflect upon how we are poised for growth and regeneration by thinking of the university as a space that is rich for development—not just for our students, but for our entire community.

With that in mind, the broad theme for this year’s event is CULTIVATE. How do we cultivate vision and excellence? How do we cultivate compassion and strength? We will be sharing ideas and best practices that will help the University of Detroit Mercy community cultivate our talents, abilities, and knowledge as we move into the future.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, August 17 and Thursday, August 18, 2022.  We invite proposals for professional development workshops that outline innovative thinking and best practices. Our goal is to engage faculty, staff, and administrators in discussion, providing the means for continued development and positive transformation.

We anticipate that Colleague Development Days may be presented in person and/or virtually. To assist in planning, we are asking that you indicate in your proposal which mode you would prefer. The deadline for submissions is May 22, 2022.
