Engaging students in reading for their courses is an ongoing challenge. Perusall is a social annotation program available through Blackboard that can help increase that engagement and accountability. This session will introduce Perusall, its capabilities, and the basic process to activate it on Blackboard. Participants will leave with an understanding of social annotation, the pros and cons of Perusall, and the steps needed to get started. Real-world examples will be provided. All faculty and staff are welcome!
