J2: Sound Bath as Self-Care and Health Care (2 Part Session)

Date/Time:
August 20, 2026, 2:10 PM
Location:
TBD

According to the Global Wellness Institute (2024), the post-pandemic wellness industry is worth over 6.8 trillion and is expected to reach 9.8 trillion by 2029. Post pandemic wellness has been exploding in interest and includes ancient practices, such as sound bathing, Qigong, Yoga, and others. A Sound Bath is a unique, restorative, and meditative mind-body experience facilitated by a practitioner skilled in using a variety of instruments and vibrational tools. The instruments vibrate, producing a melody of soothing sounds that penetrate the body, resulting in a sense of relaxation and peace. The outcome is reduced stress and anxiety and an enhanced sense of calm.

Learning Objectives: 1. Participants will be aware of the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) study and the influence of emotional trauma on longevity and overall health and well-being. 2. Participants will understand the influence of Implicit Bias when considering engaging in Mind-Body Practices, such as Sound Bathing to address stress and anxiety.

The Qigong and Sound Bath sessions are intended to be experienced as a two-part wellness duo. Registering for both sessions is strongly suggested.
