This session will include demonstration of several Qigong practices used to improve cognition/memory (neuroplasticity), reduce inflammation in the body to address pain, and improve strength and balance to reduce the likelihood of falls as we age. Workshop attendees will be encouraged to actively participate in Qigong demonstrations while seated or standing, based on ability.

Learning Objectives: 1. At the conclusion of this session, attendees will be able to demonstrate at least 2 Qigong practices shown to help decrease inflammation in the body. 2. At the conclusion of this session, attendees will be able to demonstrate at least two practices shown to strengthen neuroplasticity and improve overall brain health. 3. At the conclusion of this session, attendees will be equipped with multiple techniques to help reduce stress and anxiety.

The Qigong and Sound Bath sessions are intended to be experienced as a two-part wellness duo. Registering for both sessions is strongly suggested.
