Session Description: UDM’s CLAE—is experiencing an exciting period of transition. As the University’s oldest and original college finalizes and implements its new Strategic Vision, this panel will present and discuss what the Liberal Arts mean and why the skills and abilities they foster are fundamentally important to a UDM education; to our Jesuit and Mercy traditions; and to graduating ethical, inclusive, and justice-driven thinkers and innovators. We will discuss how the Liberal Arts at UDM can inspire students to focus on meaningful lives as well as meaningful careers.
