Join us for a session intended for educators eager to enhance their teaching practices through course redesign and revision. We will begin by providing brief overviews of design frameworks such as Understanding by Design, Backward Design, and Bloom’s Taxonomy to allow for reflection on the instructor’s current course designs leading to the consideration of possible avenues for revision. Next, we will highlight several feasible strategies to revise and/or redesign course elements. The goal is for attendees to be able to identify actionable takeaways to address course redesign in a manageable and strategic manner such as targeting student-centered learning objectives, assessments design, or implementing effective strategies for improved course organization and engagement. This session will provide professors with easy-to-implement takeaways, whether they are looking to revise an existing course or completely redesign it for next semester.  If you have any specific questions or topics you would like to see addressed in the session, please share them in the comments area as you register.
