Providing effective, meaningful feedback to students is an integral component of  their learning experience. This session will begin by reviewing recent scholarship and theories of feedback before providing specific techniques and tips on how to create meaningful feedback  for summative projects such as presentations, essays, projects, and more. We will cover some holistic approaches to crafting feedback before reviewing how to best utilize tools within the Blackboard LMS (such as creating audio and video feedback and using inline comments).

We will conclude by exploring ideas to make sure students receive and utilize feedback in order to grow as scholars.
