History
A $1.6 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education has allowed the University to establish the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) to promote excellence in pedagogy. The Center expands upon the services previously offered by the Instructional Design Studio. Those services will continue to be provided through the CETL but are expanded to offer additional faculty programming, mentoring, consultation, and other services via the CETL’s Educational Development team.

Working together and across multiple modalities, the entire CETL staff is here to promote excellence in pedagogy, in course design and assessment, and in the use of technological applications and tools to assist faculty in building online and face-to-face courses.
