Session Description: We are excited to initiate a conversation regarding the pedagogical method of “Community Engaged Learning” (CEL). We start with an explanation of what CEL is and how we will preserve the best elements of Service Learning while establishing a new framework. We will share two innovative ideas related to this new approach and invite participants to share their perspectives on what can help us move in the direction of this new mode of engagement and what might block us from moving forward. We will end by sharing a resource page.
